Dan Terkildsen

 

Dan Terkildsen is partner and head of the litigation team.

Dan has a degree in law from the University of Copenhagen and has kept his links to the University in his capacity as Assistant Professor in Commercial Law, a position he has held since 1990. To underline his ties to the University, Dan is an honorary member of the Legal Debating Society at the University. Dan is admitted to the Supreme Court of Denmark and is an experinced litigator.
Dan is also a member of the Danish and International Bar Association.

Dan is experienced within all areas of litigation, including in particular tax litigation. As head of the litigation team, Dan has much experience in various types of litigation matters, and is, in addition to domestic litigation, involved in international arbitration matters, especially within the ICC. Dan has also acted in US lawsuits as an expert in Danish law.

In addition to his litigation practice, Dan also advises on commercial matters in general (especially within the field of employment law) and he sits on different company boards.

Dan is listed by European Legal Experts 2010 as a legal expert within the areas of Dispute Resolution and Employment.

Dan was born on 10 May 1963 in Copenhagen, and was raised in the southern suburbs of Copenhagen. After having left high school, Dan became highly interested in politics and was nominated for the Danish parliament twice for the Conservative Party. For a period of 10 years, he was chairman of the Conservative Party in Copenhagen and had a seat on the party´s national board.

Dan speaks English and the Scandinavian languages.
